'This Is Us As We Are Now. Not As We Were And Not As We Will Be' was recorded outdoors and late at night sometime in early July 2021. An action at a place in time to reflect on other times out of that moment, and other actions both past and present.

The recording setup included two Bastl Kastle synthesisers, Bastl Dude micro mixer, Microgranny granular sampler, TC Electronics Hall of Fame Reverb peddle and a Zoom MS-70 Multi-stomp pedal. It also included a SOMA Labs PIPE, all going into a Tascam digital. eight track recorder. This was portable, lightweight and battery powered, which allowed me to explore the night and venture into more remote locations, alone and cloaked in a vector of darkness.

I wanted to summon up the appearance of ghosts, but we existed in separate parallel dimensions on this occasion, and the manifestations were not forthcoming.

The only thing that ended up connecting us were these recordings, now apparitions in themselves, in their own right.
